Churches that have sunday school programs for children who have special needs

If you have a loved one with special needs, Tallowood Treasures Classes are for those whose different abilities are celebrated and accommodated as they learn about God. For those able to attend a typical Sunday School class but need a little help to do so, they provide a Buddy to accompany them to class. A trained staff member is on duty to help with medical or personal care needs.

Special Blessings serves children with special needs. We offer Sunday morning programs as well as other social and recreational opportunities. Our desire is to share the love of Christ with your child and help them build Godly relationships that will last a lifetime.

Special Blessings at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church provides a nurturing and supportive environment to children with special needs. By doing so both the children and their parents are able to grow in their faith in God while experiencing the redeeming love of Jesus Christ through education, fellowship, music, outreach, prayer, stewardship, and worship. Special Blessings programs include Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, monthly respite events, parent support group, and more. For more information, please contact Keri Mosk at or 713-490-9265.

This ministry embraces children with special needs and provides a warm and welcoming place for them to attend Sunday School, fellowship with each other, and hear God’s word. All children complete a registration form in advance of admission to the program so specific needs can be met. Church is for everyone! River Pointe Church provides an environment where kids, students and adults with special needs can learn about Jesus in a setting that is safe, loving and conducive to their learning style.
